Washing machine repair

Repair goes before throwing away or new buying

In an electrical appliance put a lot of energy and raw materials which were used for his production. Moreover, his disposal poses an increasing problem. Therefore, only the fact that older devices use possibly more energy and water at her company still justifies long no new purchase. As a Siemens service Center, we know, what we do.
It sounds paradoxical: more and more often it seems that the repair is unprofitable just with relatively new machines, while she calculates herself by older devices.

Sparing application of spare parts

This should be natural, however, in practice it looks different. There intact parts are exchanged for financial reasons or incompetence. Or whole assemblies are completely substituted, although they could be repaired with low expenditure.
The prejudice originated from frequent exchanging of program switch works, they often broke. However, far from it: our statistics proves that only with about 4% of the washing machine repair the program counter was defective. About half of the programmes could be repaired with small parts again.
Much more often than the program counter breaks the pump of the washing machine. However, also here an amount of material can be saved: instead of exchanging completely the lye pump, we substitute merely for the wearing part

The defects which are not on wear (sequence error) can be also repaired with used parts well and favourably. If for example, the tube to the box has a tear, the impulse engine becomes wet and breaks. An engine ordinarily holds very long, therefore, we insert a used, outdated engine. The finish tube (wearing part, because rubber grows old) we substitute with a new part. However, a new engine would be too expensive and the repair was unprofitable.

Craftsmen can be exchanged increasingly to bare “parts” and “to labourers of the industry” degrade. Besides, just they could provide valuable services for the construction of a “repair society”.
